Bbq and Anthony P
We're firing up the barbecue on Saturday, Oct. 11, before the meat draw. Burgers and hot dogs served from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The 15-prize meat draw (with an extra prime rib) starts at 5. And make sure to wear your dancing shoes -- Anthony P will be playing from 6:30.
Special guest
We are honoured to have the Veterans Ombud join us for a town hall meeting in the Chris Lucas room on Wednesday, October 8. Colonel (Ret'd) Nishika Jardine has 37 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces and retired in 2019. 7 p.m. start.

The chili cookoff was a hot event
We fed the masses on June 7 after the chili contest; another great success in memory of the legendary Dave Mckay. Winners Sue and Lisa took home a dazzling certificate. Many thanks to all contestants, judges and branch members for participating.
